Jerdana - The Mage

As my fellow neopian watchers know, she is one of the twelve founders/protectors of Altador.  I've long been wanting to draw all twelve founders--some which will end up being re-interpenetrated, as I did Jerdana--since my series "The Flame Bearer", revolving around Shia, will guest-star at least half of them... Also, it's always been a pet-peeve of mine seeing Jerdana not dressed in attire that more accurately reflects Altador's culture. (which would be a greek-roman theme) Would love to hear your opinions on the remake: yay or nay. :3


ALSO, exciting news: last week I upgraded from my old (and well loved) Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet and got a Yiynova MSP19U+ monitor tablet. And it is absolutely AMAZING. (and so is the price tag if you got a spare $450 laying around: it's a steal.) I'm thrilled by how natural it feels to draw directly on the screen with it, as I've always felt I had more control on paper than drawing from tablet to screen.  Can't wait to see what adventures me and my Yiynova go on from here.
